The Chilmark Community Center is truly a unique place on Martha’s Vineyard. For over 50 years  generations of families have been coming to “The Center” as a place to connect with their friends, create lasting memories, exercise, and enjoy one of a kind daytime and evening activities.

At the Center there is a way for everyone to enjoy sunny Chilmark days!  Young children learn and play each morning in our Playschool.  Our 6-14 program gets kids outside and having fun with games, basketball, tennis, at our art shack, and more!  And there is plenty of fun for adults too; book a court and play a game of tennis with friends, take a tennis lesson with one of our pros, relax and rejuvenate in weekly yoga classes, or learn about local wildlife with one of our many nature programs.

Evenings at the Center are packed with activities for the whole family.  Each year the Center hosts the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival’s weekly children’s and adult movie screenings, and Cinema Circus!  If you think movies are fun, how about movies with acrobats, stilt walkers, jugglers and more?!  The Chamber Society’s weekly performances entertain music lovers, guest lectures get us thinking, and Family Fun Nights with snacks, games and sing alongs are where families mingle and play!
