Coastal Initiatives Lecture

Responding to Coastal Change

Trustees of the Reservation Monday, July 22nd 5-6:30pm

Tom O’Shea, Director of Coast and Natural Resources at The Trustees, will give an overview of The Trustees’ coastal strategy with a focus on the most vulnerable places, and interventions to increase coastal resilience in partnership with local communities. Tom will discuss The Trustees coastal vulnerability assessment and risk management project, which covered thirty-five Trustees properties and conservation-restricted areas along 120 miles of Massachusetts coastline. Over the next five years, The Trustees will be a champion of coastal protection, access, and resiliency, engaging the hearts and minds of the public and partnering with communities to care for a changing coast.

Please join us for refreshments while you learn how together our care will preserve the rich scenic, cultural, and natural treasures of our coast for future generations. Free members and non-members.
